The National Bullying Helpline is certainly enjoying a higher profile at the moment – but for all the wrong reasons. Quite why its founder, Christine Pratt, thought it a good idea to reveal that the helpline had been contacted by Number 10 staff is beyond me. Surely a confidential helpline should be, erm, confidential?
Let this be a lesson to anyone who tries to enter the political fray without being sure they can take the heat. It doesn’t take much to ruin a reputation. Just ask the National Bullying Helpine.
